I dont get along with my boss but i am attracted to him all of the sudden,why could this be?

we dont always get along.He is very strict and uptight. And i am very easygoing and just friendly to everyone.Lately i've been feeling strong attraction toward him,because he has been at least a little bit nice to me.I never thought id feel like this about him...if i get my hair done he compliments me,has told me in the past i have a nice smile,that he misses me when im not at work,asked me what i want to do with my life..just out of nowhere..we barely had a good conversation until that conversation.He is alot older than me.i cant believe i feel attracted.why am i feeling this way?
