How am i supposed to find shorts with my body type?

ok im tall and skinny all over, but i have larger hips,, theyre not huge but theyre distinct on my skinny body, so everytime i try to buy shorts for my size they go up to the hips and stop pulling up!!! i hate it cuz all the cute shorts dont even zits theyre not wide at the hips part, what should i do? its a nightmare finding shorts/jeans
