Wah, this is kinda gross but I have a pimple on my head help?

Ok so this is my first pimple and I'm a 12 1/2 my mom she has severe back and head acne and is it genetic I mean I just got 1 on my head do you think that I will get more and be like my mom? Because I don't wanna have a million zits on my head and back cuz just one feels so gross :( What do I do??
