Why do Americans (White especially) think it is easy to deal with strict parents of other cultures?

Based on what I've seen with my own eyes I do notice that White American parents are not as strict with their children as everyone else. I see things happening and I really do think "that would not go down in a Black woman's house". No one can help how they're raised though but it goes back to what someone says... everyone thinks their way is the right way. Like me, I believe in giving children a spanking because you love them to teach them young but other people think that spanking children is wrong.
